Pyong Hwa Kunin Tang Soo Do - Peaceful Warrior China Hand Way

Picture
Pyong Hwa Kunin is the style and Tang Soo Do is the art we study.   Pyong Hwa means to strive towards peace, Kunin means warrior. Tang is a reference to China and its influence on Martial Arts, Soo means hand and its implied empty or open, Do means the way or method used to reach our goal.

We strive towards a healthy peaceful existense by following a warriors path using a method of empty hand training.  Great Grand Master Hwang Kee said the ultimate goal of Tang Soo Do is world peace.  We have to work on ourselves first to overcome both inner and outer conflict and then by extension contribute to a peaceful World.

Improving our community one black belt at a time
